You saved my dad from danger after you passed away. You made me find my family at a similar time. I wish I had done more for you when you were still here.

Memories Reprise is an art/perzine made in loving memory of my (Barbilou's) uncle.

I really needed to let this out after a recent dream I had where he was there. I really hope if he's out there, reading this, that he's resting well.

Why are there cats in the zine?

To protect my family's identity, in a way. I didn't want to draw them as they really are and even less use photos, for example. 

Also cats are easier to draw for me, it always has been like that. I hope it isn't too silly.

What does "marking occupied" mean in this context?

Marking occupied ("Marcando ocupado" in Spanish) is an expression from here (Chile). It basically means "to be shocked" in this context.
