No one is around to help. Life is hard, life is stressful. I don't have to prove myself to anyone. I need peace and tranquility.

No One Is Around To Help is a literary game based around the "Peace and Tranquility" mode of the indie videogame A Hat in Time by Gears for Breakfast. This games uses said mode's phrases as its structure and base for a small story about stress due to games, be it playtesting or playing them with yourself or others.

NOIATH is a short experience, but I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Huge shoutouts to Gears For Breakfast for making one of my favorite platformer games in history and Pascal Michael Stiefel for creating one of the very few songs that's able to calm me out of anxiety and anguish effectively.

Oh wow, this really nails my feeling with games (especially video games) when I'm depressed. When I'm not depressed I get sucked into whatever fantasy world I'm in; but when I'm depressed, a game is a chore that requires an education to understand. Go here. Do this thing. Get powerful enough to go do that. The grind that I normally love becomes work, and the whole point of the game is to AVOID WORK.

This is really epic, well done!
