A Forwards, A Backwards (Also stylized as AAAⱯⱯⱯ or AAAVVV) is a 4K arcade rhythm game where each lane goes in a different direction.

For notes that go from the RIGHT towards the LEFT, push D/F or ←/↑

For notes that go from the BOTTOM to the TOP, push F/D or ↑/←

For notes that go from the TOP to the BOTTOM, push J/K or ↓/→

And for notes that go from the LEFT to the RIGHT, push K/J or →/↓

• 1 playable song: "Vampire Beings" by japanese artist iSAo.
• No long notes! Despite this, do note the game currently could be of a rather high difficulty, specially for those not used to arcade-style rhythm games.
• Chii! She's the game's mascot.

We have plans of updating and adding a few more songs and stuff to the game after the jam it was submitted for ends. 

We know it's a very basic game right now, but if you're interested in seeing it grow, please consider following us, downloading the Windows build or commenting!

So far we have to add:

- Scroll speed settings (Or options for different scroll speeds)

If you find an issue in the game, be it a bug or a game design problem, PLEASE let us know so we can add it on the list and focus on it when the jam ends!

The music used for this game so far is all freely available music that give the permission to be used commercially in games. These are the following songs:

Also, some sound effects were made by watson/MusMus!
